What is Fuzzy Logic?

Fuzzy logic is a form of artificial intelligence that is used to imitate the way humans make decisions. It is based on the idea that there are no clear cut answers to many problems and that instead, the best solution is often found by looking at the situation from multiple perspectives. Fuzzy logic uses a set of fuzzy rules, or if-then statements, to create a model of the problem and then uses that model to make decisions. Fuzzy logic can be used to handle situations where there is uncertainty or incomplete information, such as in robotics and medical diagnosis.
