What is Reinforcement Learning?

Reinforcement Learning is a type of Machine Learning algorithm that allows software agents to learn how to take actions in an environment in order to maximize a reward. It is based on the concept of reward and punishment, where the agent is rewarded for taking the right action and punished for taking the wrong action. The goal of the agent is to learn the optimal policy that will maximize the reward over time. Reinforcement Learning is often used in Artificial Intelligence applications such as robotics, video games, and autonomous vehicles. It can also be used to solve complex problems such as optimization and control.
