Did ChatGPT Pass An MBA Exam?

ChatGPT, the AI chatbot, recently passed a challenging MBA Exam administered by Professor Christian Terwiesch of the University of Pennsylvania. Professor Terwiesch shared a detailed report on the AI’s performance, which included a score between B- and B.

In his research paper, entitled “Would Chat GPT3 Get a Wharton MBA? A Prediction Based on Its Performance in the Operations Management Course,” Professor Terwiesch discussed the AI’s strengths and weaknesses. He tested ChatGPT on five exam questions and found that the AI was able to successfully answer the first question, which was about process analysis, with an A+.

The remaining questions were about inventory turns, complex process analysis, Toyota production system, and queueing analysis. While ChatGPT did well on some of the questions, it had difficulty with others. However, Professor Terwiesch was pleased with the AI’s performance overall.

In addition to its problem-solving skills, the AI was also able to generate a few automated questions. This could be a useful tool for teachers and professors, as well as students.

The news of ChatGPT’s success is spreading quickly, and it’s a sign of the potential of artificial intelligence in the near future.
